What are flat-back earrings for kids?
Flat-back earrings have a smooth, wide back that sits flush against the earlobe instead of poking out. Our screw backs are flat and thread securely onto the post, so studs stay comfortable during sleep and won't come loose during play.
Can my child wear studs right after piercing?
Most piercers recommend leaving the original piercing studs in until the ear has fully healed, usually around six weeks. After that, our screw-back studs make an ideal next pair. Ask your piercer about your child's healing time.
What size stud is best for my child?
